Vintage Milgrim Sequin and Beaded Ostrich Feather Hat MRS Couture

Stunning and glistening, this gorgeous Milgrim hat is sequined and beaded in a swirl of forms. The hat features a bouquet of burn ostrich feathers affixed to the hat via a velvet base. The hat has a mesh lining with a grosgrain ribbon, and sits angled on the head. Sally Milgrim designed wearable costumes for the modern American woman. Her work included suits, gloves, hats, and shoes. Milgrim was the head designer for the House of Milgrim for more than twenty years, and designed pieces for several Presidential wives, including Mrs. Roosevelt, Mrs. Hoover and of course Mrs. Coolidge.
