1920s Black and Gold Rose Lame Sheer Evening Dress MRS Couture

Absolutely stunning. This sheer 1920s evening dress is absolutely stunning. The dress is primarily made of black chiffon and features two embroidered panels in the front and one in the back. All panels display blooming roses made of interwoven gold metallic thread. The tea – length dress has gathered fabric on both sides at hip level, as well as some panels on the lower half of the long sleeves. The sleeves, front of the dress, and back of the dress are decorated with gold cord trim. This gorgeous evening gown can be dated back to around 1925, and was acquired from the distinguished Suddon-Cleaver Collection in Toronto.
